ImmuneRegen BioSciences to Present at Rodman & Renshaw 10th Annual Global Healthcare Conference

CEO to Address Top Biotechnology and Life Sciences Investors About Drug-Candidate, Homspera

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 6, 2008 -- ImmuneRegen BioSciences, Inc., a development-stage biotechnology company and wholly owned subsidiary of IR BioSciences Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB:IRBS.OB - News), will present at the Rodman & Renshaw 10th Annual Global Healthcare Conference, Nov. 10 - 12, in New York City. Michael Wilhelm, president and CEO of ImmuneRegen, and the Company's key science directors will speak on Nov. 10th at 12:25 p.m. ESTand will then be available to meet with potential investors and industry analysts. The presentation will focus on the investment opportunity surrounding the Company's compound, Homspera®, an adult stem cell active peptide that has been shown in preclinical studies to regenerate and strengthen the immune system, as well as enhance wound healing. Wilhelm and his team will also provide an update on the Company's product pipeline and showcase its partnerships with industry and academic leaders.

According to Wilhelm, "Ongoing positive study findings about Homspera's role in enhancing adult stem cell activity in bone marrow have generated increasing interest in licensing and/or collaborative opportunities related to this innovative compound. This conference provides an excellent opportunity to share current findings pertaining to Homspera's potential applications."

ImmuneRegen's focus is to collaborate and/or license Homspera for further therapeutic development. Homspera's preclinical effectiveness has been evident as protection from radiation exposure, acceleration of wound healing, vaccine adjuvancy, and treatment of infectious diseases, such as influenza and anthrax. Underlying these results is the ability of Homspera to stimulate stem cells that regenerate and maintain the immune system. For example, the survival increases observed in the Company's radiation studies suggests Homspera mitigates the resulting neutropenia and thrombocytopenia, thereby restoring the damaged immune system.

The Conference will feature corporate presentations by innovative biotechnology and life sciences companies to an expected 3,500 attendees (40% more than last year) including institutional investors, venture capitalists, sophisticated private investors as well as business development and partnering executives and experts from the global medical and research communities. The presentations are by invitation only.
